SKYLAR GREGG

Owner and Stylist

Skylar has been doing hair since 2008, which means she’s seen every trend come back around at least twice. A Nashville native, she’s the owner of Session Hair in the East Nashville/Madison area—where good hair, good vibes, and great conversations are a must. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s likely teaching a fitness class, writing a song, or deep into reality TV.

She’s married to her favorite human, Taylor Lonardo, and welcomed their daughter Campbell in 2024—who already runs the show. Whether you’re in her chair for a big change or just a great blowout and a good laugh, Skylar’s goal is for you to leave feeling confident, relaxed, and like you just caught up with a friend who happens to be really good at hair.

MICHAELA KEITH

Stylist

Michaela is a stylist with 11 years of experience, a proud cat mom, and a wife. She’s been in Nashville for the past four years after originally growing up in Tampa, Florida. From a young age, Michaela knew hair was her calling—by high school, she had already set her sights on cosmetology school and never looked back.

She now specializes in cutting, offering everything from crisp bald fades to long, lived-in layered cuts. Michaela believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable and welcome in her chair. Come hang out, talk travel, the latest TV shows, and all things pets—and leave feeling confident, refreshed, and your absolute best.

JESS ADCOX

Stylist

Jess is a Tennessee native (basically a unicorn) with 13 years of experience behind the chair, specializing in a wide range of cuts and colors. From taper fades to lived-in balayage, she’s got you covered. When she’s not in the shop, she’s likely cheering on her sports-loving son, catching a concert, or enjoying the occasional lucky streak at the casino. Jess loves talking music, TV, and pets, and she’s all about creating a safe, welcoming space while bringing your dream hair to life.

JENNA BADARAK

Stylist

Jenna has called Nashville home for 14 years and has been doing hair for the past 8. She specializes in lived-in cuts designed to look great long after you leave the salon.

When she’s not behind the chair, Jenna can usually be found crafting something random, swing dancing, hanging out with cats, or powering through another book with a Diet Coke in hand. She’s always up for chatting about Bravo-lebrities or favorite Law & Order: SVU episodes. A straight shooter at heart, Jenna believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable and seen— all are always welcome in her chair.

MIRANDA ROCKOW

Stylist

Miranda is your ride-or-die stylist and biggest hype person. She left Myrtle Beach at 17 to study, backpack the world, and eventually land in East Nashville in 2017. Her goal is always to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe in her chair—nothing makes her happier than seeing clients light up after their visit.

She loves all things hair, with a strong focus on scalp and hair health, and wants every guest to leave with a look that feels uniquely theirs. When she’s not at Session, you’ll find Miranda watching obscure horror films or It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, hanging with her pit bull Abbi and cat Sherlock, or jamming to the music coming out of the recording studio she calls home. Always down to talk conspiracy theories, good books, or horror-movie survival odds—she’s definitely final girl material.

LEXX HAMPTON

Stylist

Lexx is a 3rd generation Nashville native hair stylist with over 17 years experience behind the chair and is a professional listener. Drawing inspiration from seasonal changes in nature, she excels at ammonia-free creative color and blonding. When not in the salon you can find her spouting off animal facts at anyone who will listen, watching all the documentaries, or neck deep in her current hyper fixation.

ABBI LAYMAN

Stylist

In need of low maintenance dimensional color? What about a spunky fashion color or a fresh custom cut? Abbi is your girl! Specialized in her versatility and inclusivity, Abbi offers a wide array of services including gender affirming cuts and colors. She’s is incredibly passionate about her craft, her clients and all things nerdy. When not at work you would find her at a DnD table with friends, reading a book or shuffling up for a game of magic the gathering. Abbi is a gem and truly honored to be part of our team!

Brittany Schiff

Stylist

Brittany is a hairstylist with over a decade of experience, originally from Los Angeles and newly based in Nashville. Influenced by the music, style, and counterculture of the ’60s and ’70s, she strives to create hairstyles that feel timeless, edgy, and unquestionably you.

Brittany specializes in effortlessly cool hair, including shags, mullets, French bobs, and pixies, with a love for bold, intentional use of color. Her goal is to help clients of all ages and backgrounds express their inner selves through their outward appearance—and to have a ball and a biscuit doing it.

When she’s not creating behind the chair, Brittany is a mother of two and performs in a country and bluegrass duo with her husband. Some of her favorite things include vintage clothing, cult documentaries, and strong coffee. Her pet peeves are aggressive drivers, painting everything gray, and the word “peeve.”
